For the 2004 season, the Lodgers offense is led by the accurate arm of Quarterback/General, John Larson, by the speed of Running Back, Commissioner (Ret.) "Bookworm" Morgan and by the sheer strength of Linebacker/Chaplain Major Denis Day.

The Lodge Weekly has cited General Larson as the all-rounder of the century for the Macquarie Lodgers. His efforts both on and off the field has seen him promoted from a meer human being to a God-like figure known to many only as..."The General". Larsons amazing feats include: -Becoming General &
-Joining the ML Aged Rugby League Team in 1997 upon turning the minimum age of 74
What an amazing life...
And to quote his holiness, "Once there was a man called Daniel Vans... or John Vans ...No... It was John McComb and this John McComb said to me that he liked my haircut and to drop by his place of work soon, perhaps I shall drop by "World Industries" sometime, i really liked that chap..."
